How Ace of Maids handles your details when you use this app. Last updated 12 September 2026.
Who we are
Ace of Maids is a cleaning company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (P.O. Box 416575, Dubai). This app is how customers book our cleaning professionals and how our office and team run the schedule. In this policy, “we” means Ace of Maids.
What we collect, and why
We only collect what a cleaning booking needs.
- Your phone number. It is how you sign in: we send a one-time code to it and never store a password. The code itself is stored only as a hash and expires within minutes.
- Your name, and your email if you give it. Your name is for the cleaner and the office; your email is only for receipts and booking confirmations.
- Your address and access notes. The community, villa or building, and anything you tell us about parking, pets or where the key is, so the cleaner can find you and do the job. Notes you leave for a cleaner are shown to her and to the office.
- Your bookings. Dates, times, hours, which cleaner came, what was charged and whether it was paid. We keep this history so your regular cleaner comes back, so credits and referrals work, and because tax law requires us to keep records of sales.
- Payments. Card payments are taken on a page hosted by Stripe. Your card number never reaches this app or our office. Stripe gives us a reference for you and, if you have a standing booking, a reference to your saved card so each visit can be charged the day before. You can ask us to remove the saved card at any time.
- Reviews and referral codes. A review you leave is linked to your booking and shown on the cleaner’s profile only after the office has read it. Your referral code is a short random code with no personal details in it.
- Notifications. If you switch on push notifications, your phone gives us an anonymous delivery address for them. Turning them off in your phone’s settings ends it.
We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The app sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in. Our hosting providers keep ordinary server logs (the time of a request, your IP address, your browser) for security and to keep the service running.
If you are on our team
Office staff, cleaners and drivers sign in with a Google account we have invited. Google tells us your name, email address and profile picture and nothing else; we never see your Google password and do not read anything else in your Google account. Cleaners’ names and the profile details the office adds are shown to customers so they know who is coming. Working hours, leave and the jobs on your list are kept to run the schedule and for payroll.
Customers from before the app
If you were a customer before this app existed, the record of your visits with us was carried over from the scheduling system we used before, so that your standing arrangement, your regular cleaner and your history are the same as before. Nothing about how it is used has changed.
Who handles your data for us
We use a small number of service providers, each only for the job named here, and we do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
- Stripe processes card payments.
- Vercel hosts the app and Neon hosts its database. Both run for us in Singapore.
- Google provides sign-in for our team only.
- Messaging providers (WhatsApp Business, SMS and email services) deliver one-time codes, confirmations and reminders to you.
Our office and your cleaner see what they need for your booking. Drivers see the day’s run sheet: names, communities and times, not your phone number.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept for as long as UAE tax and accounting law requires. Your account details stay while you are a customer. One-time codes are deleted as soon as they expire. If you ask us to close your account, we remove what we can and keep only what the law says we must, and only for that purpose.
Your choices
- See and correct your details on the My account page, or ask the office to do it.
- Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or to delete it.
- Remove a saved card, pause or end a standing booking, or switch off notifications, at any time.
This policy is written under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law. If you think we have got something wrong, tell us and we will put it right.
Children
The app is for adults booking cleaning for their home or business. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and the date at the top. Big changes we will tell you about directly.
